The Spear of Heaven has been up and running for a few months now, and barring a few initial hiccups it’s going well. I really do think Substack and things like it are going to be the way of the future when it comes to publishing new and interesting work, particularly as we enter a Brave New World where AI can write books for you. At some point in the future I might write an article about this…but that’s for another time.
In the meantime, I’ve decided to turn payments on the site back on. This does not mean that posts will be put back behind a paywall…quite the opposite. All chapters and posts on the site will remain free to read for everyone, now and in the future. That will not change.
But if you like what you are reading and want to help your humbler scribbler and taleteller keep himself stocked in tea and biscuits, why not show your appreciation? $5 a month…about the cost of a cup of coffee, certainly less than the price of a movie ticket. A coin in the hat, a dollar in the can, every little bit helps.
